Annie stayed out of school last week and on Friday came to spend the day with us. We made pumpkin biscuits, she was a wonderful sous chef. The girls loved the biscuits, Annie mentioned that they looked liked scones. We then played outside to soak up the warm sun. After tiring, the girls they spent chill time in the bed reading together. We sure love it when Annie comes to play.
The week started out so cold, wet and gray, but by Thursday the sun was out. Molly and I made up for lost time on Thursday we went to story time and crafts at the library. Next stop was Chipotle for lunch with Joe. Molly loved the black beans and rice, as you can see. Our last stop was Wilshire to see grandma's new room. Molly loves going to Wilshire.
It is a cold, rainy fall day in Kansas City. Football is on, so was Chili. Seemed like the perfect dinner. Molly loves playing in the kitchen while a cook, of course she is tons of help. Molly has become a little parrot with her talking, but my favorite by far is "happy," she loves to tell you she is happy, and why wouldn't she be? She makes us so happy. Here are kitchen pictures of Molly at play while i was cooking. Joe gave Molly her first taste of the chili. She is notorious for wanting to eat what Daddy is eating. I love the expression.
Jennifer and James came over on this beautiful fall afternoon for a play date. James is a sweetie, he wanted to give Molly a smooch. I hope in 10 years when she see's this she is not mortified.
Molly is such a big girl! She is officially a walker. My video will not load on here, but it is on Facebook. We are so proud of our Molly. She also says daddy all the time. Last night as she was drifting off to sleep Joe came in the room. She must have sensed his presence, because she quietly said..."daddy?" It was very sweet. These were taken this afternoon while we played outside.
