Four Generations

My grandma came over today to visit with Molly, so we had a chance to capture a four generation shot.

A Flash In the Past

The shot below was taken on May 17, 1979. It's Sherry holding me holding my 4 day old baby brother Nathan.

This shot was taken on August 18, 2008. It's Sherry holding one week old Molly and Nathan's little girl Annie. Looks like a full circle.

Annie has been absolutely fascinated with Molly and talked and sang to my tummy for months.

One Week Old

Molly went to her first doctor appointment today and weighed in at 7.05# and gained an inch to a full 21 inches. Doctor said all was well with her, but we could have told him that.

She's had a full week with a visit from her Great-Grandma Jean and cousin Rachel.

Monday was her first road trip to Grandma & Papa's house. Jim and Sherry Meissert came from Camdenton to see her. They were my second parents when I was growing up and very important in my life.

Tammy, Ed and Madelyn Reed stopped by on Sunday for their first visit with Molly.

And Grandma has been staying nights for a pajama party with Molly.

Headed Home

Here I am on Wednesday getting a bath and getting ready to go home. I really didn't like that bath very much at all! But the shower! Now that was something special.

Daddy made it all better.

And a snuggle is the best of all.

Here is Grandpa Ellis with his three little girls. Molly is about three hours old here.

Uncle Nathan and Auntie Carina, Isobel and Annie came to see Molly. Auntie Carina was there when Molly was born.

Great Grandma Zumsteg came to see Molly when she was one day old. Look at all of my hair!!

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

Molly Jayne was born on 8/11/08 at 1:32 p.m. She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 20" long. She has a full head of dark hair (thank you, daddy!) She is absolutely beautiful and we are all totally in love.

Hello Peridot

Well, it is now August and Molly will have peridot as her birthstone. Even thought I was ready to welcome her in July, personally I like peridot better.

Joe's birthday was this past Tuesday and we celebrated with family at Mom & Dad's. We went to the Doctor that day and was disappointed to hear no new news. The heat index here in KC is to be 117 this weekend so I am going to try to stay cool.

Hopefully the next entry here will be welcoming our Molly. Stay tuned!
