Popsicle

Joe loves popsicles and Molly is always wanting a taste. Today, I decided to make some out of watermelon juice. It was nice and slushy, cold and sweet. She loved it, these pictures capture her love...and heartbreak when it was all gone~

Autumn in the Air

Molly and I went for a walk the other morning and their was a slight chill in the air. So we put on leg warmers and a sweet sweater that auntie carina made for Molly before she was born. I am excited that it still fits. Carina makes beautiful clothing for littles.

Yesterday, the in-town Crawford crew gathered to celebrate the impending arrival of baby Jackson. Molly loved seeing everyone. She even mastered climbing the stairs on the first try, she is such a big girl.

beautiful august!

The weather here in Mo. has been fantastic! We have been spending a lot of our time outside. On Friday, we meet up with friends Jennifer and her little man, James. James is only 4 months older, but he is so much bigger! And he such a little man exploring his world. Molly watched James in delight. It was too sweet when they were sharing snacks, of course I didn't get a picture of that. :( here are a few shots that i did get.

On Saturday, we went for a nice long walk. When we came back Joe was outside getting ready for his golf trip. We sat outside with him and enjoyed the evening. Her Mimi gave her the sweet retro tank. I love the expression on her face, she is getting so expressive. What a little personality she has!

Petting Zoo

Isobel, Molly and i went to the petting zoo today. They had a wonderful time. The kids (baby goats, not girls) were the favorite. Isobel feed a bottle and molly watched in delight, until they swarmed her stroller and took her sippy cup! Here are some highlights from our visit.

1 year~1 week

I am amazed at Molly. She is so smart! I am sure all mama's think that, but i am very impressed with her vocabulary. She repeats so many words this week drip, drop when she is in the tub, cup, banana, gra (for grandma) jayhawk, duck and she is quite proud of herself. She just laughs and smiles. Molly has seen me with Velcro rollers and loves to put them in her hair! Here are some pictures from our last week. Isobel has been with us. Molly loves having her big cousin with her, and Isobel is so much help! We made tissue flower and took them to Great Grandma's nursing home to deliver to the residents. Molly and I also went to Barnes and Noble to spend her birthday money. Thank you again, to all who thought of our sweet little Molly on her big day. Speaking of cousins Linda and Jerome sent Molly the cutest bath fizz cupcake! We all went to mom and dads for a swim. Molly loved it, then she snuggled her papa.

Yesterday i decided to video Molly. I love her laugh to me, it is the best sound their is. Daddy was munching on her toes, and she was just squealing in delight. The other video she is eating her teething biscuit, you can just see her little personality.

Molly's 1st birthday

I can hardly believe today is Molly's first birthday. This last year has just flown by. Joe and I were saying what joy we have found having Molly in our lives. I can honestly say this has been the best year of my life hands down. I heard someone once say that having a child is like having your heart on the outside of your body, that is so very true! I am very grateful that i am able to be the kind of mom i always wanted to be. Staying home with Molly is a true gift, and i am so grateful to Joe for working so hard to make this happen.
Molly is such a happy baby. Giving everyone smiles and waving , she's a real social butterfly! She is also quite the talker now, and has an excellent vocabulary for her age. She is standing on her own, but not walking quite yet, but soon i know.
This next year will be full of many more milestones and so much joy... my cup is already spilling over! :) but i am looking forward to every moment with sweet molly jayne.
Here are some pictures from here big day. She was napping at 1:32, her actual time of birth, but i had to take a picture. The others were taken right before bed.
