Halloween 2009

What a beautiful Halloween in KC. We dressed Molly up as Baby Jay, and went to the parade in Lee's Summit. She loved people watching. Here is Baby Jay:

My parents are celebrating 38 years of marriage, what a wonderful example!
They have taught me so much about love, family, respect, caring and kindness.
Tonight we had a family dinner to celebrate them.

Nelson Art Museum

It was a cold rainy day in KC today. So what better to do, then head to the Art Museum. Molly and I meet up with N,C,I and A for some art. I wasn't allowed to take photo's there, but this was Molly as soon as we got home. You can just see the great time she had. She sure loves being with her cousins.

Grandma's camera

As you all know, I dropped my camera at the Plaza Art Fair. Grandma was so kind to let me borrow hers, after all I have to capture Molly and her many milestones.
Over the last 10 days so much has happened. She is so smart and growing up, too fast! Just yesterday she and grandma were looking at a book together. Grandma would ask her where something was and she would point right to it. What a smartie! She can also identify eyes, ears, mouth, nose, toes and tummy, hair, hat (she loves hats) bow and calls them by name. Molly loves to "dance," i need to download a video of it. Anytime she hears music she rocks her little body. Not yet walking, but so so close! She also has been cranking out teeth, poor baby now has her bottom molars, that she loves to brush. Here are the last of the pictures from grandma's camera.

Cousins

Last weekend my parents had a family get together. It was great to see my Aunt Janet and Uncle Sonny. They brought my cousins little one's Maddy and Logan. Derek also came over with little Brady. It was great to let the little one's interact. Molly had a blast and smiled the whole time, and just cracked up watching the older ones play. Mom, as always had a fantastic dinner. She was quit innovative, she opted to put the table cloth for the kids table, under the table instead of on. With the Italian fest this was a great idea!! It was great to see everyone.

October

The plaza art fair was the end of September. We headed down on the beautiful Sunday afternoon, I pulled out my camera...and splat butter fingers! I dropped it on the lens, it is in repair. In the meantime, I have borrowed my Mom's camera, as i must capture Molly and her many adventures.
We have had some chilly mornings here, Joe is notorious for wearing a stocking cap. Molly now wants to wear a "hat," her word.
She also loves to climb on anything she can get on, it is amazing she is almost in full splits as she hikes her little leg up, then omp and she is up.
This past weekend we did the Alzheimer's walk. My Grandma Ellis had this terrible disease. We must find a cure! Molly and i bundled up for our 5k. As you can see she was carried on my back, she loved riding on my back. Funny story, i had a friend help me tie her on my back super tight so she wouldn't fall out. Great idea, but once i got to my car I realized I couldn't untie her!! Thankfully some nice folks stopped to help.
