Silver Dollar City

We just got back from our first family vacation in Branson. It was a wonderful trip with mom, dad, Nathan, Carina, Isobel, Annie, Jim, sherry and Dalton. We had a cool day with light drizzle while we were at silver dollar city. And like all good parents Joe and i let grandma hang with molly so we could ride a few roller coasters. The next day the gals went to the butterfly palace. Molly loved watching the butterflies fly around. Thanks mom and dad!!!

Molly loves going over to grandma and papa's. This picture was taken in their rose garden.

Camryn, Jace and Molly

These cuties belong to Joe's best friend of 25 years Andre and his wife Nicki.

Joe was at the hospital when Camryn was born...and the Webster family came the night Molly was born.

It was wonderful to see them this weekend.

toothless wonder~tooth less no more.

We have teeth! They are just nubbies but, she has two bottom teeth that have poked through. She wouldn't let us take a picture of them, but we did get this cute one today while she was in her swing.

sitting in the yard

What a beautiful day! Molly and I went for a nice long walk, and daddy was waiting for us. He and Molly get so excited to see each other! It is so sweet, true love! It means so much to us to have such great friends and family. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and well wishes with Joe's health. He is feeling really good right now! The Docs put him on new meds, so far, so good!

Roots~

"The Oak Tree"~Author unknown

A mighty wind blew night and day. It stole the oak tree's leaves away. Then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark until the oak was tired and stark. But still the oak tree held its ground, while other trees fell around.

The weary wind gave up and spoke. How can you be standing, Oak? The oak tree said "I know that you can break each branch of mine in two, and carry every leaf away, shake my limbs, and make me sway. But I have roots stretched in the earth, growing stronger since my birth. You'll never touch them, for you see they are the deepest part of me. Until today, I wasn't sure of how much I could endure. But now I've found , with thanks to you. I am stronger than i ever knew~

Elimination Communication

I heard about elimination communication long before Molly was born. Recently. however I thought we could give it a try. I am so excited that we are now at a 75% success rate! Which means Molly, who is not yet even 9 months old is pooing on the potty! :) Don't worry this post does not have pictures. I just wanted to 'share,' this accomplishment!

Sunny Day!

We all enjoyed the beautiful day today. Joe has been very sick for the last 72 hours. He has been getting sick like this almost monthly. So lots of test on the horizon. Today, thankfully he feels good. Here is a great picture of him with Molly.

I love the picture on the right. She is so happy, and you can see those teeth trying so hard to poke through.

Molly and Madelyn

Friends

We were lucky enough this weekend to see friends for dinner. Friday night we meet Joe's good friend Kirk, and his family out. Minus his new bride Tammy, she was still home in Boston, but we hope to see her soon.

On Saturday we got with the Reed Family. Tammy and Ed have been friends since high school, we love them. They were blessed two years ago with a beautiful little girl Madelyn. I was lucky enough to meet her when she was just a few hours old~ they are a wonderful family. Molly just loves Madelyn, she has meet her before, but the older she gets the more aware she is~ she reached to madelyn and wanted to touch her pretty face, and she just smiled and laughed at her. I think they will be great friends I just hope they avoid some of the things their Mama's did! :)

This is what my heart looks like~

As most of you know, Molly and I co-sleep. I recently read that when a mama and her baby sleep together they are one again. I love it, which means Joe is in the guest room. It works for us. Every morning Joe comes in when he hears us stirring. Molly gets super excited when she hears her daddy. He comes in for snuggles, i don't know who loves it more.

I know we are all so lucky to have Joe working from home. I am so grateful to be a stay at home mama, and we all just share our days together. This IS the life. I am happier now then I have ever been. Thank you Joe!!! you are a wonderful daddy and a beautiful husband!
