Mama

Molly is finally saying, "mama." It just warms my heart! Yesterday, when she woke up she looked at me and said "happy, mama," boy was i ever. My heart just grows more and more everyday. She is learning so many new words. Joe and I are so impressed with her. Of course we are talking with her all day long, so it really is no surprise. She can tell you and show you where her hair and bow is, along with eyes, ears, mouth, nose, chin, teeth, tongue, arms, fingers (complete with finger wiggle) knees, feet, tummy/belly and toes. She can also identify and tell you what she sees in books. Cheetah, dog, cow, duck, tree, apple, moon, baby, bowl and cup. She is pretty much a little parrot. No more HBO in front of her. :)
And poop....which she loves to say often. Sometimes she is telling me what is about to happen, but more times then not...she is just saying it. Funny girl. We love her so.

Baby Shower

Molly and I attended a baby shower yesterday for Beth. Molly got to play with Madelyn. They had a wonderful time together. Now that Molly is walking she followed Madelyn around. Madelyn showed her love by offering to share her chips! Molly is not ready for chips yet, but it was a sweet gesture.

Thankful....

I can hardly believe this is Molly's second thanksgiving. We are so thankful she is in our lives. She has enriched our lives so deeply, it is love all the way around.
We are also thankful for families both far and near. Thank you for your support and love. I personally want to thank Joe. I am so grateful to stay home with Molly. It has been hard for us to do this, but the value out weighs the cost. I know in this day and age many mama's don't stay home with the little ones. This is time we will never get back and I truly cherish it. Joe I appreciate you working so hard and making the sacrifices required so Molly can have the start in life we want for her.

Crawford Crew

Monday we celebrated Crawford Thanksgiving with the in-town crew. We wish Mimi could have been there, but she was in our thoughts. <3

just another ordinary perfect day

Here are some sweet pictures of our monkey girl.

Annie comes to play

Annie stayed out of school last week and on Friday came to spend the day with us. We made pumpkin biscuits, she was a wonderful sous chef. The girls loved the biscuits, Annie mentioned that they looked liked scones. We then played outside to soak up the warm sun. After tiring, the girls they spent chill time in the bed reading together. We sure love it when Annie comes to play.

Fun Day

The week started out so cold, wet and gray, but by Thursday the sun was out. Molly and I made up for lost time on Thursday we went to story time and crafts at the library. Next stop was Chipotle for lunch with Joe. Molly loved the black beans and rice, as you can see. Our last stop was Wilshire to see grandma's new room. Molly loves going to Wilshire.

Chili kind of day

It is a cold, rainy fall day in Kansas City. Football is on, so was Chili. Seemed like the perfect dinner. Molly loves playing in the kitchen while a cook, of course she is tons of help. Molly has become a little parrot with her talking, but my favorite by far is "happy," she loves to tell you she is happy, and why wouldn't she be? She makes us so happy. Here are kitchen pictures of Molly at play while i was cooking.
Joe gave Molly her first taste of the chili. She is notorious for wanting to eat what Daddy is eating. I love the expression.

First Kiss

Jennifer and James came over on this beautiful fall afternoon for a play date. James is a sweetie, he wanted to give Molly a smooch. I hope in 10 years when she see's this she is not mortified.

November Leaves

Molly is such a big girl! She is officially a walker. My video will not load on here, but it is on Facebook. We are so proud of our Molly. She also says daddy all the time. Last night as she was drifting off to sleep Joe came in the room. She must have sensed his presence, because she quietly said..."daddy?" It was very sweet. These were taken this afternoon while we played outside.
