My childhood is filled with many many wonderful memories of family float trips. I jumped at the chance for Molly to experience a family camping trip, it was a bummer it was not everyone, but Grandma and Papa took the littles and myself. The Meisserts meet us at the river. The girls had a wonderful time! We played in the beautiful cool, clear river. Splashing about and skipping rocks. Grandma also made sure the girls had bubbles, tea parties and art supplies.
Molly loved waking up seeing her cousins, then the girls would run into grandma and papa's bedroom and hopped in bed with them, giggling as they climbed in. We also went the fish hatchery to feed the fish and went to the "waterfall" to watch the folks fish, along with a trip to the nature center.
I must admit i never know just how hard camping with a little one was. Sweet molly did everything she could to keep up with her cousins. This lead to many falls, and a few bumps and bruises. But she kept going! until she crashed in bed at night time.
We all had a wonderful trip~

It certainly was interesting to say the least. :) here are some pictures, now that molly is potty trained we take a potty with us (would you take a toddler to a port-a-potty?) i adore the picture of her in the back of the car...

Final 2 party
Today was family party, and molly has been talking about it for days. She was so excited to see her cousins, they missed her actually birthday, as they were in Chicago. Auntie Carina was sick, so she missed it, and we missed her.
We had a fantastic time swimming, then pizza, presents and the pink cake!
I can not believe i did not get more pictures, i guess that happens when you are monkey wrangling. We love our birthday girl!

Party at the Splash Park
Today we had a playdate to celebrate Molly's 2nd B-day. She had a wonderful time playing with her friends, Kieran,Dionna, Lollie, Madelyn, Stacie, Ava, Lyla, Sarah, Jaxon, Amber, Iris, Eden, Jean,Quincy, and of course grandma and papa. The kiddos loved playing in the water, eating muffins made by grandma and molly, watermelon, and cheese, along with blowing bubbles. It was a great time for all!
Reflection
Two years ago our lives were changed in a such a delightful way. We never could have guessed just how much we would love our little monkey girl. She is such a happy, joyful child. This past year she has grown and learned so many things. She is a pro at potty usage, can spell her name, tell you colors, count to 12, identify most letters...and often tell you a word that starts with said letter. She also has her daddy's athletic nature...she climbs, jumps, tumbles, sings, dances, cooks, and brings a smile to everyone.
Looking back on this past year just makes me smile...and i can not wait to see what her future has in store.
We heard this quote right after she was born, it is so intensly true, "Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body."

B-day party 1 of 3
We got together with Jay the great, phil, rachel and baby jackson today to celebrate Molly's 2nd birthday. She had a wonderful, loved seeing everyone and of course being a ham. When she woke up this morning, extra early mind you...she was talking about seeing everyone and her party. Jay got her a piano, and Rachel and Phil got her a bubble mower and sidewalk chalk. She loves watching daddy mow, and knew just what to do.
