A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

We had a beautiful day today in Missouri with temperatures in the 50's. Molly & I went for a neighborhood stroll. She started out snoozing and eventually woke up a happy girl out in the sunshine!!

Grandpa Joe and Ms. Jackie's visit

What a wonderful weekend we had. Grandpa Joe and Ms. Jackie came for their first visit with Molly.

On Friday, we all went to Grand Street Cafe for our anniversary dinner. Here's Molly in her portable high chair for the first time. Thanks to Tammy, Ed & Madelyn.

On Saturday, Molly starred in first short film. She had a non-speaking role. We think it was good casting, since she is short and doesn't speak. :~)

Grandpa Joe gave Molly lots of great advice!

On Sunday, we all went to the Big Biscuit for a farewell breakfast before the folks caught their plane home. We were glad to have the opportunity for pictures and breakfast together.

This cute little chunky monkey outfit was given to Molly from Priscilla & Phil. They sure know a chunky monkey when they see one!

Oh....she sat up by herself for the first time this weekend. It was only for a few seconds, but she is definitely mastering this skill.

Sunday afternoon....the weekend wore Molly out. Here she is having a snooze with Grandma.

Happy New Year!

2009 has started out wonderfully. Molly is doing great and avoiding illness. Her bottom teeth are really giving her (and me) fits. She's drooling and chomping. Hopefully they will pop thru soon.

Isn't this a sweet picture of Molly sleeping. I haven't been able to capture many of these shots. Guess I sleep when she does!

We are very excited about the visit this week from Grandpa Joe and Ms. Jackie. Can't wait for Molly to meet them.



We celebrated January anniversaries and birthdays last night at Mom & Dad's. She and Annie are quite a pair. Isobel has become quite the hat maker and presented Grandma with a special birthday hat. Note there are 2 candles on top and they say "Let's Party". Grandma says she will wear it to Texas!

Sweet Cousins

We put Molly in bed with Annie yesterday when it became obvious that Annie was not going to take her nap. Looks like we are going to have our hands full with these two! I imagine Annie will show Molly all the tricks.
